Marinette & Menominee Counties, WI/MI — The M&M Area Community Foundation (MMACF) is excited to announce that scholarship applications will officially open on Sunday, March 1, with submissions accepted through 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
This year, the Foundation is offering more than 50 scholarship opportunities to support local students in pursuing higher education and career training. Scholarships are available to:
- High school seniors
- Non-traditional students returning to school
- Students pursuing technical, trade, or four-year degrees
Opportunities are open to eligible students across Marinette County, Menominee County, and a select few in Oconto County.
“Each year, our scholarship funds reflect the generosity and vision of donors who believe deeply in investing in the future of our communities,” said Ashley Berken, Executive Director of the M&M Area Community Foundation. “Whether a student is heading directly to college after high school or returning to school later in life, we encourage them to explore the opportunities available.”
Students interested in applying should begin by completing the Foundation’s online eligibility quiz, which helps determine which scholarships they qualify for. The quiz and application portal can be found at:
Questions about the scholarship process may be directed to Program and Operations Director Kaitlin Deschane at kaitlin.deschane@mmacf.org.
The Foundation strongly encourages students not to wait until the final days of March to begin the application process.
